Children have always held a special place in my heart, because I remember what it felt like to be one and now I am a mother of three amazing human beings whom I adore. My children are now adults, I feel inspired to help more young people. I remember the joy and the challenges of growing up, and I feel a deep responsibility to help protect today’s youth from the trials I faced as a child and young woman.
Our Mission
The Youth Empowerment Program is a faith-based initiative dedicated to helping young people navigate life with confidence, purpose, and clarity. As a volunteer, I share my personal experiences as a young person and the lessons I’ve learned a long the way, providing guidance, encouragement, and tools to help youth thrive.
What We Do
We focus on prevention and empowerment. Helping young people:
Prioritize their education and ask for help when they’re unsure.
Love and respect their bodies
Explore their unique gifts and talents, discovering hobbies that could turn into meaningful opportunities.
Recognize negative influences that can derail their dreams, including peer pressure, substance use, unplanned challenges, and unhealthy relationships.
Build resilience, self-confidence, and faith in Go’d plan for their lives.
Through open conversations in a safe environment, guidance, and faith-centered support, we help youth see their potential and the bright future that lies ahead.
Faith and Guidance
Our program is rooted in Christ-centered principles. We believe that understanding God’s plan and aligning with His teachings provides strength, clarity, and protection from the adversary and harmful influences. By combining practical advice with spiritual guidance, we empower young people to make choices that honor themselves, their families, and God. By the way, all youth are welcomed with open arms regardless of faith.
